Uchuca

Body length 17.5 mm in male, 24–24.8 mm in female. Pronotum length 6.2 mm in male, 6.58–6.74 mm in female. Tegmen length 2.5 mm in male, 2.56–2.9 mm in female. A distinct black or dark brown dorsal band extends from the fastigium of vertex to the IX abdominal tergite. Fastigium of vertex with truncate apex, continuous with fastigium of front; dorsal area smooth. Frons and genae smooth, with multiple irregular macules. Pronotum produced posteriorly, covering most or all of the short wings; cephalic margin of lateral lobes obtuse, ventro-cephalic angle a little obtuse, caudal margin sinuous, covering most of the humeral sinus. Tegmina extremely short, rudimentary, reaching only the beginning of the first abdominal tergite, almost or completely covered by caudal margin of pronotal disk, with a few veins and dark brown coloration along the border. Anterior femur with two spines on lower margin internally, none externally. Fore tibia with six spurs on each margin ventrally. Mid femur with three spines on ventro-external border, unarmed internally. Mid tibia with 8–9 spurs on ventro-external margin, six internally. Hind femur with 2–4 spines internally and 6–7 externally on lower portion. Hind tibia with 12 spines dorsally internally, 14–16 externally, ventrally with 6–8 spurs on external margin and 4–5 on inner margin. Two slightly lighter irregular bands appear on each side of abdomen. Ovipositor length 5–8 mm.
