Morphological Features

Female: frons weakly convex. Pronotum slightly wider than long, anterior margin armed with distinct serrations, basal pronotum with median mycangial tuft; pronotum almost as long as wide, sub-squarish, basal margin substraight. Antennal funicle with five segments; club flat, obliquely truncate with segment 1 covering the posterior face (type 1). Elytra 1.70× as long as wide and 1.43× as long as pronotum; interstriae smooth and shiny, nearly 1.5× wider than striae with widely placed small punctures and long fine hairs. Declivity commencing on apical third, face steep and weakly convex. Posterior half smooth and shiny with sparse fine punctures.
