Morphological Features
Genus Capraita is characterized by the presence of an antebasal depression on the pronotum, a flattened prosternal projection, and relatively small eyes. The pronotum has a prebasal transverse impression. The intracoxal process is wide and flattened. Body shape is obovate to elongate-ovate, moderately convex. General coloration testaceous or yellow, with elytra often bearing black spots and a flexuous posterior band, or with narrow fusco-rufous sutural and vittae. Punctation is present on the elytra. The anterolateral angles of the pronotum are directed obliquely forward. The anteapical dentation of the elytra is low and triangular.
