Trionymus

Adult male: body small, total length 0.82–0.88 mm. Head roundly triangular, apex pointing anteriorly. Antennae short, slightly less than half total body length, with short, stout fleshy setae; fleshy setae subequal in length to width of antennal segments. Dorsal head setae with 1–2 fleshy setae and 6–8 hair-like setae plus 1–5 simple pores. Ventral head setae with 2–6 fleshy setae and 6–8 hair-like setae plus 0–1 small simple pore. Pronotal sclerite a long finger-like process. Wings hyaline, about 700 μm long and 230 μm wide, about 0.8× total body length and 0.3× as wide as long; each wing with 2 hair-like alar setae and 1–2 circular sensoria. Legs: tibia III with 1–2 fleshy setae and 8–10 setae, some spur-like distally; tarsi two-segmented, proximal segment very short; claws long, thin, almost straight, without denticle. Abdomen: dorsal setae on segments I–VII 3–4 hair-like setae; segment VIII with tergite and sternite sclerotised, tergite with 1–2 pairs of hair-like setae; glandular pouch setae 2 rather long (about 230 μm) plus 1–2 shorter setae. Penial sheath short, broadest anteriorly, sides converging to narrow blunt apex, length 85–105 μm, greatest width 70–75 μm. Aedeagus about 83 μm long, parallel-sided, extending past penial sheath, apex membranous. Loculate pores each with 3–5 loculi, 6–7 μm wide, on thorax and abdomen only.
