Eburia

Body length about eight lines. Antennae setose, 11-segmented, longer than body in both sexes; male antennae more than twice body length; first segment thick, rough, longitudinally sulcate; third segment slightly longer than following; segments 3–10 gradually increasing in length; last segment much the longest, more than twice length of previous. Head produced, short, elevated at base of antennae. Pronotum cylindrical, with a single lateral tubercle, surface uneven, often bearing two closely set dorsal spines (tubercles); these tubercles black contrasting with ground color or concolorous. Elytra elongated, slightly convex, subparallel, apex bi-truncate and four-spined; outer apical angle with distinct spiniform projection; at base a pair of narrow, raised, convex, shiny yellowish spots or lines; elytra with two eburneous maculae. Legs fairly long, especially hind legs; meso- and metafemora cylindrical, each armed apically on inner side with two spines, inner spine larger. Overall coloration light brown, grey, or ash, with two spots and some waved lines of dark brown.
