Morphological Features

Total body length 16.0–17.0 mm. Tegminal length 12.5 mm, tegminal width 5.5 mm. Pronotal length 2.5–3.5 mm, distal pronotal width 2.0–3.0 mm, proximal pronotal width 1.5–2.2 mm. Hind femur length 7.5–9.0 mm. Cerci length 2.0–2.25 mm, robust and loosely S-shaped. Ovipositor length 5.0 mm. Tegmina with latticed vein pattern; dark staining pattern generally a full X or the top half of an X; a pair of black spots mid-wing and a pair of spots at the base of the wings. Ventral abdomen color and subgenital plate described for live male. Metanotal gland with long setae covering ends of two curved structures projecting upward into the center orifice of the gland. Distal abdominal terga projections present.
