Cerococcus

Adult female: body shape variable, often with well-sclerotized anal lobes; each anal lobe with 3 spinose setae on inner margin and 2 short bullet-shaped fleshy setae on dorsal surface, one near apex and one slightly more anteriorly; anal ring with 4 pairs of setae, each gradually narrowing to a flagellate apex. Antennae unsegmented, each 30–35 µm long, 35 µm wide, with 4 fleshy setae and 3–5 setose setae. Dorsum with 8-shaped pores of variable sizes, often arranged in a lattice-like or swirled pattern; cribriform plates present in a submedial group on each side of abdominal segment IV, each group with 2–4 oval plates, anterior plates approximately twice width of posterior plates. Stigmatic pore bands with few spiracular disc-pores. Leg stubs absent or rarely present. Ventral surface with small bilocular pores, each 5–8 µm wide, sparse medially in head and thorax; loculate pores (generally 5-locular) present in a group near each antenna.
