Lachnopus

Body length 1.15–1.60 mm, shape oval to elongate, length/width ratio 2.18–2.26. Body black, with glabrous, small, subcircular, appressed scales. Rostrum short, weakly curved, 0.7× as long as pronotum, finely punctate; lateral margins narrowed toward eyes. Head 0.4× as long as rostrum, not constricted behind eye; eyes evenly convex, separated from anterolateral margin of pronotum by at least 3 rows of scales. Antennal scrobes directed under eye but not reaching eye; scape extending to posterior margin of eye; club reddish brown, nearly 4× longer than wide. Pronotum wide, trapezoidal, length/width ratio 0.62–0.69, 1.7× longer than wide at apex, 0.8× longer than wide in middle, 0.6× longer than wide at base; dorsal surface glabrous to punctulate. Elytra convex, 3.3× as long as pronotum, 1.7× longer than wide at base and in middle, 2.4× longer than wide at apical fourth; intervals weakly convex, 1.2–1.5× as wide as diameter of punctures; punctures separated by distance slightly shorter than width of each puncture, each with 1 spatulate scale. All tibiae serrated on inner margins; metatibia with basal quarter straight, apical three-quarters strongly arcuate, anteroventral margin with one very large, triangular, apically truncate tooth at basal quarter. Prosternum without postorbital lobe and vibrissae; front margin without vibrissae. Procoxae located closer to front margin of prosternum.
