Morphological Features

Body length 1985 μm, width 395 μm. Head with postocular setae weakly capitate, extending beyond posterior margin of eyes. Antennal segment III with two sense cones, segment IV with four sense cones; antennal segments I–VIII length/width ratios: I 0.8, II 1.3, III 1.5, IV 1.6, V 1.8, VI 1.0. Pronotum with five pairs of major setae, capitate at apices; anteromarginal setae two-thirds length of anteroangular setae; pronotal setae lengths: anteroangular 40 μm, anteromarginal 30 μm, midlateral 35 μm, epimeral 60 μm, posteroangular 45 μm. Metascutum sculptured with reticulation medially, median setae situated at middle of sclerite. Fore wing sub-basal setae arranged in a triangle, finely capitate. Abdominal tergites II–VII with two pairs of wing-retaining setae, darker than other setae; tergite IX setae S1, S2, S3 finely acute. Tube length not specified.
