Pseudothysanoes

Body length 1.0–1.8 mm, 2.2 times as long as wide, body longitudinally oval, dark brown to black, covered with pale hair-like and scale-like setae. Head black, frons flattened with dense erect golden hair-like setae, vertex finely granulated with minute punctures. Antennae reddish-brown, scape elongate with few pale hair-like setae, funicle 6-segmented, club elongate-oval, flattened, sutures 1 and 2 slightly procurved, marked by pale setae. Pronotum wider than long, summit well-developed, anterior slope with asperities. Scutellum large, rounded, with minute punctures and few setae. Elytra dark reddish-brown, weakly shining, 1.3–1.4 times as long as wide, 1.7 times as long as pronotum, surface finely punctured; interstriae with erect short flattened setae, on interstriae 1 and declivital part of interstriae 3 and 9 setae biseriate, on even-numbered interstriae biseriate at base, uniseriate on disc and declivity. Legs reddish-brown; protibia slender, with denticles; meta- and mesotibiae broadly flattened towards apical margin, with socketed teeth and long setae. Abdomen dark brown to black, first two ventrites wider than others, punctate, with long pale setae.
