Bucculatrix

Adult. Head: frons smooth and shining, vertex and crown slightly raised with creamy to pale ochreous piliform scales. Antennae filiform, approximately 0.75–0.80× forewing length, white with alternating pale brown annulations. Labial palpi slender, porrect, extending slightly beyond frons, clothed with whitish scales. Thorax creamy white to pale ochreous, occasionally with faint brownish speckles dorsally; tegula concolorous with thorax, narrowly fringed with whitish scales. Forewing ground color white to creamy white, covered with scattered brownish speckles; two distinct brownish spots along costal margin. Hindwing pale creamy white, slightly translucent, narrower than forewing; cilia long, silky white, approximately equal to wing width. Fore- and mid-tibia slightly shaded with pale ochreous; hind tibia with long piliform scales forming a loose brush. Abdomen not described. Female genitalia: papillae anales sclerotized, broadly oval, densely covered with short fine setae; corpus bursae large, elongate-oval, membranous, densely covered with fine microspinules; signum elongate and plate-like, occupying nearly two-thirds of corpus bursae, composed of vertically aligned comb-like ridges and a faint central band.
