Morphological Features
Two males display the typical morphology of Oncometopia nigricans. The crown is somewhat more produced than in related species. The dark pattern on all body parts is extensively developed, and the forewing veins are contrastingly dark and narrowly outlined with dark. The aedeagus is not compressed laterally; in lateral view, the posterior margin is produced into a tapering extension approximately as long as its basal width. Deltoid genital chamber sclerites are present.
