Trigona

Worker. Integument predominantly black; forewing membrane dichroic, proximally infuscate, apically whitish. Clypeus length slightly less than half its width (0.45 mm : 1.08 mm). Compound eye length 2.3× its width, shorter than upper and maximum interorbital distance, longer than lower interorbital distance (1.12 mm : 1.35 mm : 1.40 mm : 1.07 mm); inner orbits concave, slightly converging downwards. Interalveolar distance slightly greater than antennal alveolus diameter, much shorter than alveolorbital distance (0.24 mm : 0.17 mm : 0.31 mm). Clypeus and supraclypeal area with black erect setae (0.08 mm) interspersed with branched hairs (0.05 mm). Upper frons with black erect branched setae (0.13 mm) interspersed with feathery hairs (0.06 mm). Vertex with longer branched erect setae (0.19 mm). Scape with very fine, dense, short black setae (0.06 mm). Mesoscutum covered by ramified erect black setae (0.17 mm), sparsely distributed on disc, abundant on anterior edge and near pronotal lobes and sides. Mandible black with reddish apical margin and blackened teeth. Metatibia with simple erect setae on posterior margin (0.32 mm) interspersed with branched setae (0.30 mm). Terga III–V with simple black erect setae on apical fourth, abundant and forming a wider band on sides (TIV–VI lengths: 0.10, 0.15, 0.20 mm). Sterna with simple setae (SIV–VI lengths: 0.21, 0.20, 0.20 mm). Integument smooth and polished between piliferous punctures.
