Morphological Features
Body length 10–20 mm (larger beetles) or ≤ 8 mm (small beetles). Body densely covered with setae, particularly on pronotum and elytra. Posterior margin of head distinctly margined between eyes. Clypeus quadridentate, middle two teeth larger than outer ones. Propleuron not divided by a carina, smooth and continuous. Meso- and metatibiae bearing longitudinal rows of aligned setae. Metatarsomeres elongated and transversely truncated at apex, outer margin of first metatarsomere approximately 1.5× length of second.
