Morphological Features
Body short, cylindrical. Head with dorsal surface reticulate, smoothly punctate. Epistome with a pair of tufts of long setae basally, anterior margin obtusely projected at right side. Elytral intervals somewhat convex, with an irregular row of small punctures; setae on declivity arranged irregularly in one or two rows, each behind a granule, distinct and more than twice as long as granules. Base of first to fourth intervals smooth in male, base of first to third or fourth intervals rugosely punctate-granulate in female. Sternite VIII divided, with several long setae apically.
