Morphological Features
Body length 5.5–6.5 mm. General coloration black with reddish markings. Head black; antennal segment I surpassing tylus by about 1/3 its length; antennal segments: I 0.4, II 0.82, III 0.57, IV 0.7 (male); I 0.39, II 0.88, III 0.64, IV 0.76 (female). Pronotum mainly black, with frontal and posterior margins reddish; pronotum length 0.97–1.05, width across anterior margin 0.98–1.05, width across humeral angles 1.6–1.78. Thoracic pleura dull blackish, except acetabular margins and posterior pleural margins slightly ochraceous. Lateral margin of corium sometimes with red areas confined to basal half or covering whole length. Hind tarsi: segment I 0.33–0.36, II 0.1–0.13, III 0.18–0.2.
