Phytomyza hellebori

Adult female: body yellowish-rose, with only antenna, palpus, postgena posteriorly and hind margin of eye brown. Proctiger generally cylindrical, weakly sclerotized in anterior half except for stronger sternite 10 and narrow dorsomedial area of tergite 10; four pairs of long setae located on the posterior margin between cerci. Postgonite relatively narrow, 3.7× as long as maximum width; short and medium setae spaced laterally, subapically and apically. Intermediate sclerite short, its length equal to the maximum height of the left mouthhook. Internal duct invagination cylindrical, as deep as height of spermatheca. Surface quite smooth except for narrow bands of fine spines and the last two abdominal segments finely wrinkled.
