Morphological Features

Adult. Body stout. Elytra 1.4 times longer than pronotum, shiny, 1.57 ± 0.026 longer than wide, sides straight and sub-parallel on basal three-fourths, posteriorly terminating broadly rounded, almost squared. Antennal funicle 4-segmented; antennal club with basal corneous portion (segment 1) always procurved, sutures visible only on anterior face. Frons weakly convex, transversely impressed just above epistoma, with finer punctures on smooth surface and with inconspicuous hairs. Hair-like setae mostly on asperate surface as well as on posterolateral part.
