Anoplophora glabripennis

Adults are 20-35 mm in length and 7-12 mm in width. Their color is jet-black with a luster, each elytron bearing about 20 white dots. The antennae have 11 segments, with the base whitish and blue-black distally; male antennae are 2.5 times body length, female antennae 1.3 times body length. The base of the elytra lacks a granular structure. Eggs are off-white, oblong, 5-7 mm long, with both ends slightly concave. Mature larvae are up to 50 mm in length, with a brown mark on the prothorax, the anterior area of the pronotum lightly sclerotized and light yellow, the posterior area more heavily sclerotized and brown pigmented with dense spicules. Larvae also possess pigmented micro-spiculose patches on the prosternum, with dorsal and ventral abdominal ampullae arranged in 4 transverse rows and 2 rows respectively, and are colored reddish brown. Pupae are off-white, 30-33 mm long and 11 mm wide .
