Morphological Features

Body length of male without wings 3.48 mm, with wings 3.94 mm. General color orange-brown with varied dark brown and pale markings. Vertex subtrapezoidal, anterior margin convex and carinate, wider at base than midlength, median carina obscure with oval areolet. Frons length 2.14× greatest width, lateral margins keeled and weakly convex, median carina strong, frontoclypeal margin linear. Genae dark brown except whitish marking along ventral margin of eye. Antennal scape just taller than wide, pedicel about 2.3× taller than scape. Pronotum tricarinate, lateral carinae laterally arched, reaching posterior margin. Mesonotum much longer at midlength than vertex and pronotum combined (~1.9×). Forewings clear, prominently marked with broad transverse band in proximal third and a broad reversed ‘C’-shaped marking from nodal line to trailing margin, curving back to wing apex. Legs with metatarsi as figured. Abdomen brown with trailing portions of terga and sterna pale. Male terminalia with aedeagus greatly elongated and strongly downcurved, phallotheca bearing elongated process.
