Morphological Features

Adult female body elongate oval, 1.51–1.76 mm long, 0.75–0.98 mm wide. Dorsal setae of two types: enlarged setae similar to cerarian setae, each on an elevated area with a trilocular pore near basal socket, forming segmental transverse or longitudinal rows; and smaller spine-like setae randomly distributed. Cerarii numbering 15–18 marginal pairs, each normally on an elevated area with 2 enlarged setae and 1–3 trilocular pores. Anal ring oval, with 1 inner row of pores, 1 or 2 outer rows of pores, and 6 setae. Multilocular disc pores present on posterior abdominal segments, especially around vulva, sometimes also on thorax and head. Quinquelocular pores mainly in median areas of thorax and abdomen. Oral collar tubular ducts of up to 3 sizes. Most ventral setae slender and hair-like; submarginal setae spine-like in a longitudinal row.
