Coraebus

Body length 12.70–13.60 mm in males. Head transversely expanded, evenly and coarsely punctate; frons with shallow longitudinal depression along entire length; clypeus as long as wide, arcuately emarginate at anterior margin, covered with white setae; groove above antennal cavities continuous with frontal depression through a very narrow furrow. Antennae long, extending beyond base of pronotum, serrate from antennomere IV, covered with long, semi-recumbent white setae. Pronotum transversely expanded, 1.6 times as wide as long, disk finely and evenly punctured, with shallow longitudinal groove along each lateral margin of anterolateral regions, covered with inconspicuous white setae near apical angles and at sides. Scutellum transversely cordiform, 1.2 times as long as wide, smooth. Elytra 2.43 times as long as wide, weakly depressed near humeri, basal margins distinctly arcuate and reaching basal angles of pronotum; elytron with short brown setae and three maculations of semi-recumbent white setae: a faint isolated spot slightly posterior to middle, a zigzag transverse band at apical 1/3, and a subapical band inclined inward, with setae becoming denser internally and extending along suture toward apex; extremity sharply pointed, inclined inwardly. Ventrite 5 with a pair of concentric spiral ridges and a smooth, inverted triangular area medially.
