Morphological Features

Body length 2.0–2.8 mm. Integument black, with dorsum moderately visible between recumbent elongate seta-like grayish to yellowish scales arranged on elytral interstriae in 2–4 irregular rows; only a few broad whitish scales at base of pronotum and on scutellum. Rostrum moderately long, curved. Antennae with 6-segmented funicle (distinguishing from species with 7-segmented funicle). Pronotum moderately wider than long (Pw/Pl 1.12–1.25), sides weakly rounded from base. Elytra with striae distinct, interstriae flat. Legs with femora clavate, tibiae with uncus. Tarsi with claws simple.
