Morphological Features

Body dark brown. Head usually without postocular setae pair I; ocellar setae III in position 2A. Antennal segment III with pedicel weakly dilated; antennal segments compact, similar to members of the minuta series group. Posteromarginal comb on tergite VIII irregular and with short teeth. Males distinctively paler than females and lack a posteromarginal comb on tergite VIII.
