Eurytoma samsonowi

Adult female length 6–6.3 mm. Head and mesosoma black; metasoma reddish brown to almost brown orange with a black spot dorso-basally. Metasoma shorter than mesosoma, with six tergites, the 5th and 6th tergites with a short gastral sessile. Antenna black, scape and pedicel brown basally; funicle 6-segmented with one row of longitudinal sensilla; double club. Antennal insertion slightly in middle of face, slightly above lower edge of eye. Eyes red; three black ocelli. Forewing hyaline; marginal vein longer than stigmal vein and postmarginal vein. External ovipositor brown, consisting of two valvulae and a stylet. Male antenna black, scape, 6-segmented funicle and double club similar to female; each funicular segment F1–F6 with two rows of erect setae and one row of longitudinal sensilla. Larval mandibles brownish black with double teeth, second tooth shorter than first. Full-grown larva dull grey, later turning white after defaecation.
