Morphological Features

Body black; elytra black, broader at base than pronotum and more shining, very convex, rather short, with shoulders weakly prominent, almost rounded; rostrum slightly arched and weakly shining, slightly narrowed from base to apex, shorter than head and thorax combined, marked with a short lateral groove in front of eyes.
