Castiarina

Head punctured, with a broad median sulcus; mouthparts moderately elongate. Pronotum closely punctured, anterior margin straight or projecting medially, basal margin bisinuate, with or without basal foveae; laterally parallel-sided at base, rounded to widest before middle, then narrowed to apex. Elytra punctate-striate, intervals convex or rounded and smooth; laterally angled outwards from base, rounded at humeral callus, concave, rounded postmedially and narrowed to bispinose apex; marginal spine acute, sutural spine minute, margin rounded and indented between spines; apices slightly diverging. Ventral surface shallowly punctured, with sparse, short setae. Colour variable: head green, blue, or dark blue with yellow or coppery reflections; pronotum blue laterally, green with blue anterior margin, or dark blue; elytra black with yellow and/or red markings, or with bronze reflections.
