Morphological Features

Body length not given. Antennal club longer than wide; first club antennomere triangular, less than twice as wide as long; second club antennomere a bit more than twice as wide as long; third club antennomere strongly dilated at apex. Frons unarmed, granulate with a distinct glabrous median line, and a bundle of long, slightly recurved downward setae on both sides next to the median line. Vestiture sparse, short, appressed and whitish setae, longer, denser, appressed mixed with some erect setae on anterior and lateral areas. Female: frons with a series of long, erect, slightly recurved downward setae between eyes forming a hairy crown. Clypeus densely, finely granulose, anterior margin wide, single V-shaped. Pronotum subrectangular, anterior angle with a small uncinate tooth, posterior angle rounded; middle part of posterior area with sparse, flattened, elongate granules and raised on sides; vestiture dense, short, appressed, pale setae on anterior area, longer and recurved on posterior area, appressed on posterior and lateral areas; vestiture dense, appressed setae, shorter and less dense on lower third. Posterior margin of last abdominal segment covered by very dense, long, erect downward setae on middle, scarcely visible.
