Scolopostethus

Body length 3.0–4.1 mm. Eyes located at a distance of less than one-third of their diameter from the anterior margin of pronotum. Antennal segment I extends beyond apex of clypeus not more than half of segment length. Antennal segments I–III yellowish to pale brownish, remaining part dark brown to black. Pronotum with very narrow lateral carina, distinctly widening at transverse furrow; anterior part black to brown, with scarce shallow punctures. Fore femur distinctly widened, widest part more than 4.5 times as wide as fore tibia at middle, with one large spine and a row of small spinules on inner surface. Fore tibia arcuate, with series of minute denticles along inner surface or at least apically. Vestiture on pronotum and hemelytron very short, barely visible, setae adpressed or slightly raised. Hemelytral setae obliquely adpressed, subequal to width of hind tibia. Membrane dark with two whitish spots.
