Morphological Features

Neomyzus comprises about nine Asian species with distinctive black dorsal markings. The body is whitish, yellow, or green with a brown or black horseshoe-shaped marking. The head shape differs from Aulacorthum, and the fourth rostral segment bears a different number of accessory hairs. Immatures have spinulose hind tibiae.
