Morphological Features
Head slightly wider than mesonotum. Genal processes conical, 0.3–0.9 times as long as vertex. Antenna 10-segmented, filiform, 1.8–4.4 times as long as head width; segments 7 or 8 always the longest; terminal setae subequal or one about half the length of the other, slightly shorter to slightly longer than segment 10. Clypeus with a pair of long setae and a group of shorter ones. Forewing obovoid, oval to subrhomboidal, rounded apically, 2.3–3.3 times as long as head width, 2.0–2.5 times as long as broad; veins bearing microscopic setae subequal or slightly longer than vein width, irregularly spaced; membrane infuscate or colourless apart from brown patches along wing margin. Hindwing with prominent M+Cu1 vein, costal setae distinctly grouped. Metatibia 0.5–0.9 times as long as head width, bearing distinct genual spine and 1+3+1 apical spurs. Body dimensions larger (antenna length >2.0 mm, forewing length >2.0 mm) or smaller (antenna length <1.9 mm, forewing length <2.0 mm). A striped-pattern usually present on head and thorax, variably on abdomen. Head and thorax medium to dark brown, strongly contrasting from whitish to light yellow abdomen and yellowish forewings, or pale yellow with faint striped-pattern restricted to thorax and conspicuously dark veins.
