Anatrachyntis

Forewings narrow to very narrowly lanceolate, ground colour usually reddish brown with a pattern of irregular blackish brown and white streaks. In some species, forewing shiny yellowish white with blackish brown pattern: indistinct incomplete oblique fascia at 1/3 of length, distinct complete diagonal fascia at middle, longitudinal apical streak, and darkening of costal margin in basal third and before apex. Hindwing light ochreous, somewhat darkened apically. In other species, forewing yellowish-brown with basal quarter clearly darker, brown, framed by a blackish transverse line outwards; dark oblique fascia not reaching costal margin near middle of wing length.
