Morphological Features

Wingspan 13–27 mm. Forewing ground colour creamy white, densely suffused with ochreous to dark brown scales, anterior area yellow to brown-grey; forewing with one or two yellowish medial fascia and five to nine black terminal dots. Hindwing venation: M1 located in the upper angle of the open cell; base of M2 and M3 without a basal pointing stalk. Frons with or without a small point; sides of labial palp creamy white at base.
