Adults small to medium size, sexual dimorphism expressed only in size, male without forewing costal fold. Forewing with all veins separate or R4−R5 stalked, Sc reaching middle of costal margin, R1 arising from middle or slightly before middle of cell on anterior margin, basal distance between R1−R2 less than that between R2−R3, R5 extending to apex. Hindwing without costal fold in male, Sc extending to distal 1/3 of costal margin, Rs and M1 stalked or connate at base, remaining veins separate; female hindwing usually with two spines in frenulum. Antenna yellowish brown, mixed with brownish black scales. Labial palpus slender, length about twice diameter of compound eye, yellowish white mixed with pale yellowish brown scales on outer surface, yellowish white on inner surface. Thorax: dorsum and tegula yellowish brown, tegula with brownish black scales at base. Forewing with costal margin slightly arched, termen oblique; basal patch occupying basal 1/4 of forewing, pale yellowish brown except brownish black on costal margin.
