Morphological Features
Crown V-shaped, face (excluding eyes) slightly longer than broad, frons small and slightly inflated, ocelli usually about 2× as far from midline of face as from eyes; lora small, clearly defined in female, in male varying from clearly defined to very narrow, concealed by prominent lobes of frons; pronotum usually slightly declivous, striations variable but always at least slightly oblique; pregenital tergite with quadrate notch at middle of hind margin in male. Body size either smaller (male <4.0 mm, female <5.0 mm) or head with frontal spot. Male brown or yellowish, usually with dark pattern on pro- and mesonotum; female similar to male or green with various dark pattern, crown, pro-, mesonotum, and mesonotal margins of forewings usually black, brown or pale yellowish. Pale yellowish with black pattern, forewings semi-transparent with black veins. Grayish brown or brown, usually with dark pattern on face. Reddish brown to brown, without dark pattern on face.

Keck Center for Comparative and Functional Genomics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Messenger RNA was selected from one microgram of high quality total RNA. RNAseq libraries were constructed using the TruSeq Stranded RNA Sample Preparation Kit (Illumina, San Diego, CA). Libraries were sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq2500 with TruSeq SBS sequencing kits version 4. The libraries were sequenced from both ends of the molecules to a total read length of 100nt from each end.
