Morphological Features

Body length 3.2–4.5 mm. Body from ochraceous to black, shiny, moderately punctured. Head with submargins bearing hairlike setae (2–5 on either paraclypeus); pegs and peglike setae on paraclypei almost always absent, only sporadically one or two may be present; clypeus without a subapical pair of hairlike setae, only sporadically with a pair of short slender pegs. Pronotal submargins with a row of 4–6 hairlike setae on either side. Second antennal segment a little shorter than third segment.
