Morphological Features
Puparium ovoid to slightly wider than long; vasiform orifice cordate, fully occupied by operculum; lingula head lobulate but covered by operculum; caudal furrow short, defined by a pair of variably developed caudal ridges terminating at the pair of caudal setae. Cuticle generally dark brown to black, with little wax secretion. Cephalothorax submargin with 7 pairs of setae; abdominal submargin with 8 pairs of setae. Metatibia with a comb of 3 spines. Adults with dark wings bearing several white spots; head, thorax, and part of abdomen brown.
