Morphological Features

Adult. Body length not given. Head yellow with dirty white tint, darker on frontal vitta and face; orbital plate with minute light brownish spots around base of setae and setulae; ocellar tubercle and palpi black; antenna dark brown, with scape and pedicel yellowish, first flagellomere dark brown; arista dark, covered with hairs as long as width of arista base. Thorax brown to dark brown, with postpronotum, notopleuron and supra-alar spot paler; body with light brownish pruinosity that is pronounced on thorax, almost coppery. Legs: apices of femora distinctly light yellow. Wing veins yellow; wing length not given. Abdomen dark brown with lateral margin of tergites narrowly yellow. Chaetotaxy: two ors (posterior seta 2/3–4/5 length anterior), two ori (anterior seta thinner and ½–2/3 length posterior); four strong dorsocentral setae slightly decreasing in length anteriorly.
