Dorsal surface quite densely covered by recumbent golden, brownish and whitish round to lanceolate scales. Head and rostrum separated by a slightly concave fairly deep groove; space between eyes slightly depressed with a long narrow longitudinal sulcus ending just apicad of base of eyes; vertex hardly convex, finely transversely strigose at base. Eyes large, elliptical, moderately protruding. Epifrons almost flat, with broad blunt dorsal carina and weakly keeled sides. Epistome deeply V-shaped, smooth, basally keeled. Funicular antennomere I about 1.93–2.07 times longer than II; club fusiform elongate, about as long as three preceding antennomeres. Pronotum 1.11–1.19 times broader than long, sides moderately to rather strongly rounded, widest shortly apicad of middle, quite flat dorsally; disc with relatively small smooth quite convex granules irregularly distributed and faint trace of longitudinal median line. Elytra very elongate, 1.83–2.00 times longer than wide, about 1.62–1.75 times as wide as pronotum, maximum width at basal third or quarter, rather flat on dorsum and quite abruptly sloping towards apex; intervals poorly visible, surface somewhat uneven and granulate. Femora moderately densely clothed by recumbent partly narrow golden and partly oval whitish scales, latter forming vague white middle ring on external side. Tibiae partly compressed and strongly curved inwards at apical third; protibiae with some acute granules along concavity of apical third. Tarsi comparatively elongate with hardly erect stiff long setae. Piceous, rather shining; claws and apical comb of setae brown. Sexual differences: females have elytra much more convex and oval, only 1.56–1.76 times as long as wide, with maximum width at middle, intervals more strongly tuberculate, and a somewhat conical low tubercle at beginning of elytral declivity on suture.
