Body length not specified. Head and prothorax mostly dark brown dorsally, gradually reddish brown toward ventral side. Frons finely, densely, confluently punctate, laterally separated from antennal tubercles by oblique, deep depression. Area between upper eye lobes with slightly elevated, subelliptical plate centrally, finely, confluently punctate. Distance between upper eye lobes 0.45–0.55 times length of scape; distance between lower eye lobes 0.65–0.80 times length of scape. Antennae 1.65–1.75 times elytral length, reaching elytral apex at apex of antennomere IX; antennomeres III–V with long, erect, sparse setae ventrally. Pronotum with five slightly elevated gibbosities; surface somewhat opaque, microsculptured, except large, smooth, shining area medially. Prosternum smooth in basal half, transversely striate in distal half. Elytra with sparse long, erect setae; decumbent setae distinctly denser toward apex. Ventrites with abundant pubescence not obscuring integument, interspersed with long, erect setae.
