Augochlora

Head as long as wide; malar space length less than basal mandibular width; angle of epistomal sulcus strongly protruding into clypeus; mandible strongly bidentate, preapical tooth small and rounded, produced far from apical tooth apex; labrum with transverse basal elevation. Antennae of moderate length, extending posterad to scutellum. Hind tibia anterior surface with abundant tiny setae among longer setae, longest setae mostly longer than maximum tibial width; outer surface with white or yellow setae. Hind basitarsus more than 6.5 times longer than maximum width; outer surface setae with brown to black setae among lighter setae. Propodeum posterior surface punctate and rugose, lateral carinae ending on ventral half. T1 anterior surface with sparse tomentose setae, punctures moderate-sized, very sparse (I>5PD); T3 with tiny setae not reaching posterior margin sublaterally; T5 median area covered by scale-like decumbent setae pointing towards midline. Ridge bordering ventral gonostylar process with short setae, not surpassing gonostylar apex.
