Eurysthea

Body length 10.3–12.1 mm in males, 10.15–11.9 mm in females; humeral width 2.4–2.8 mm. Integument black or reddish-black. Head with frons minutely, abundantly punctate except smooth lobe on each side of coronal suture; area between antennal tubercles minutely, abundantly punctate interspersed with coarse punctures; coronal suture distinct from clypeus to area between upper eye lobes. Antennae 1.45–1.9 times elytral length, reaching elytral apex at distal third of antennomere X to distal quarter of antennomere VIII; antennomere III with long spine at inner apex (0.2–0.35 times length of antennomere), antennomere IV with short spine. Pronotum with 5 isolated tubercles: two subcircular, elevated on each side of posterior third, with narrow projection forward; coarsely punctate except on smooth elevated areas. Elytra with two types of pubescence: long, erect setae and shorter, lanceolate setae; elytral apex without yellowish setae. Legs with femora and tibiae bearing long, thick, white setae interspersed with lanceolate setae.
