Otiorhynchus crataegi

Mature larva. Body length not given. Head capsule with 4 long dorsoepicranial setae (des), des1 and des2 placed on central part of epicranium, des3 on frontal suture, des5 anterolaterally; 2 long frontal setae (fs), fs4 anteromedially, fs5 near antenna. Antennal segment membranous, bearing 1 conical sensorium and 4–5 filiform sensilla. Clypeus 3 times as wide as long with 1 very short clypeal seta placed posterolaterally. Labrum about 2 times as wide as long with 3 long, straight labral setae of different length, placed medially or mediolaterally; lms2 somewhat longer than others, all exceeding labral outline. Epipharynx with 3 finger-like anterolateral setae of different length. Maxillary palpi with two palpomeres of almost equal length. Postlabium with 3 postlabial setae of different length: pms2 very long, 2 times as long as pms1 and 3 times as long as pms3. Mala with 7 dorsal malae setae of different length and 3 straight ventral malae setae almost equal in length. Each pedal area of thoracic segments well isolated, with 6 pedal setae of different length. Setae filiform, white to yellow.
