Stolas

Larva: body elongate, slightly flattened dorsoventrally, widest across metathorax. Head strongly sclerotized, hypognathous. Antennae two-segmented, set in membranous ring; first antennomere cylindrical, wider than long; second antennomere cylindrical, longer than wide with peg-like sensilla and sensory appendix. Pronotum with ten pairs of very long setae, posterior ones bifurcated at apex. Meso- and metanotum with lateral protuberances usually bearing two setae. Legs: femur strongly sclerotized; tibiotarsus with single claw, with numerous stout setae. Abdominal tergites with rows of setae. Dorsal side pale yellow with brown spots; pronotum, lateral scoli, supra-anal processes, spiracles and legs brown. Ventral surface brown with oval pale yellow inner region.
