Macrosiphoniella

Body spindle-shaped, 1.95–2.87 mm long. Color in living specimens grayish green to pale gray, covered with a thin layer of wax powder; antenna, apical part of femora, tibia, siphunculi and cauda dark. Head with antennal tubercles well developed, diverging inner sides. Antennal segment III with 19–24 hairs, bearing 2–6 secondary rhinaria in basal half; segment IV 0.39–0.52 mm long, 1.22–1.45 times as long as V; segment V 0.29–0.38 mm long, without secondary rhinaria. Apical rostral segment stiletto-shaped, 0.19–0.22 mm long, 3.80–5.25 times as long as its basal width, 1.43–1.75 times as long as second joint of hind tarsus. Siphunculi thin, cylindrical, with 24–30% reticulation on apex, 1.02–1.31 times longer than cauda, 0.17–0.22 times as long as body length. Cauda elongate, finger-shaped, with a weak constriction on base, 2.10–3.33 times longer than its basal width, bearing 14–20 long hairs. Body hairs placed on small distinct pale scleroites; posterior cephalic hairs and spinal hairs on third abdominal tergite about 100–113 µm long; hairs on eighth abdominal tergite 4–6, 93–125 µm long.
