Morphological Features
Head brown, face with large rounded black macula extending over frons and crown-face transition between ocelli. Crown in dorsal view very short, median length one-tenth of interocular width. Transocular width nine-tenths humeral width of pronotum. Antennal ledge carinate and slightly oblique, not concealing antennal base. Frons with transverse striae, lateral margins strongly convergent ventrally. Lorum with subgenal suture rounded, extended nearly to mid-length of lateral margin of frons. Maxillary plate produced ventrally as far as clypeus apex. Clypeus slightly longer than wide, lateral margins parallel, apex carinate and straight. Forewing translucent light-brown with broad white transverse stripe at apex of clavus; venation obscure; many small erect setae. Legs greenish-yellow; hind tibia with cucullate bases of macosetae black. First tarsomere ventral surface with two longitudinal rows of simple setae; pecten with 4 platellae flanked by tapered lateral setae. Second tarsomere pecten with 2 platellae flanked by tapered lateral setae.

PRJNA715047 SRX12762862 SRP342974 insect RNA-seq of Momoria menisica After the total RNA extraction and DNase I treatment, magnetic beads with Oligo (dT ) are used to isolate mRNA. Mixed with the fragmentation buffer, the mRNA is fragmented into short fragments. Then cDNA is synthesized using the mRNA fragments as templates. Short fragments are purified and repaired at the end, added single nucleotide A (adenine) and connected with adapters. The suitable fragments are selected for the PCR amplification as templates. After the construction of the library, Qubit2.0 and Agilent 2100 are used to detect the concentration and insert size of the library, and Q-PCR method is used to quantify the effective concentration of the library to ensure the quality of the library.
