Pyrrhalta

Body grey-brown, dorsal side with weak metallic bronze tint. Head densely punctured; vertex with moderately large punctures and semi-erected setae. Eyes large, strongly convex, slightly oval. Labrum moderately convex, impunctate, lustrous, with setae along apical margin. Frontoclypeus wide, rather convex, with setae along sides, surface lustrous above, finely wrinkled on lateral slopes. Space between antennal sockets with rather convex ridge. Antennae moderately robust, about 1.7 times shorter than body length; antennomeres I–III sparsely, others densely covered with short semi-adpressed setae. Pronotum transverse, about 2 times as wide as long, widest at anterior third; disc smooth, with dense, rather large punctures and semi-adpressed silvery setae; posterior angles with setigerous pore bearing long pale seta. Elytra very densely and confusedly covered with distinct punctures and silvery setae. Legs moderately robust, covered with pale semi-adpressed setae; apical spur of middle tibia absent; tarsomere I not modified in males. Ventral side covered with pale adpressed setae. Aedeagus about 5.5 times as long as wide, widest at middle, then gently narrowing to triangular apex; ventral side convex in basal half, with shallow longitudinal lanceolate depression in apical half.
