Apriona swainsoni is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Hope in 1840. It is known from Myanmar, China, Laos, North Korea, South Korea, Vietnam, and Thailand. It feeds off of Caesalpinia decapetala.

Morphological Features
Adult body length 28–39 mm, with males 28–33 mm and females 33–39 mm. Body elongate, subcylindrical, generally dark brown to black with rusty spots. Head with robust mandibles; antennae long, filiform, exceeding body length in males. Pronotum transverse, with lateral tubercles; surface rugose. Elytra parallel-sided, each with distinct punctation and scattered rusty or yellowish spots; apices rounded. Legs moderately long, femora clavate. Abdomen with five visible sternites; in males, abdominal tip more rounded, in females more pointed. Larvae up to about 30 mm long, with well-developed head and pronotum; gut divided into foregut, midgut, anterior hindgut, and posterior hindgut.
