Cepaea nemoralis, the grove snail, brown-lipped snail or lemon snail, is a species of air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusc. Cepaea nemoralis is the type species of the genus Cepaea. The species is one of the most common large land snails in Europe and has been introduced to North America. It is used as a model organism in ecological genetics, including in citizen science projects.
