Proposed revision of the " Special Act on Imported Food Safety Control"

As methods of remote inspection, followings are determined; remote communication which enables a real-time interaction between the parties, and the submission of necessary materials for inspection via the internet.
One or both of these methods can be used considering the target and purpose of inspection and the condition of ICT in the exporting country. The Minister of Food and Drug Safety may determine and publish matters deemed necessary for remote inspection other than those prescribed in the enforcement rule.
